

Even though it’s well written and compelling, it starts off a bit cliched. Truthfully, I tried not to like this book. It’s Desperate Housewives with a touch of The Boy Next Door. There are too many secrets and hidden intentions for that. The characters are well developed, but not necessarily likeable. It’s frighteningly suspenseful in places, darkly humorous in others, and slightly naughty. This book has it all: murder, passion, and betrayal.
